Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Synergy: the website, the Growth Hub, and anything you buy through them. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of the business you connect.

What Synergy is

Synergy reads a business’s filed record, the market around it and what its owner tells us, and sets out where it stands and what is worth doing to grow it. It is commercial growth support. It is not accounting, tax, legal, HR, regulatory or financial advice, and it does not replace it.

Who can use it

• It is for businesses. You must be authorised to act for the business you connect.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for use of your account.
• What you tell us should be true as far as you know it.

What is free and what is paid

Connecting your business and its Home page are free, and no card is needed for them. Everything else — the areas in full, simulations, the plan and the specialist network — comes with the Growth Hub.

• The Growth Hub starts with a 14-day free trial. We take your card details when the trial starts and charge nothing until it ends.
• After the trial it costs £199 a month, taken at the start of each monthly period until you cancel.
• Each period includes 5 model requests, 2 Synergy Hours and up to 3 seats. Further Synergy Hours are bought separately. Unused allowances do not carry over.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or keep your full card number.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your subscription page. Cancelling during the trial means you are never charged. Cancelling after it means you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and are not charged again. See cancellations and refunds.

Your information

What you give us stays yours. You let us use it to run the service for you — to work out your figures, compare them with your market and keep your Hub current. How we handle it is set out in our privacy notice.

What we can and cannot promise

• Every figure we show says where it came from. Public records and the information you give us can be incomplete or out of date, and where we do not hold something we say so rather than guess.
• Readings, plans and simulations are to help you decide. They are not guarantees of any result, and the decisions you take are yours.
• Where we introduce you to a specialist, the work they do for you is agreed between you and them.

Liability

Our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in that time. We are not liable for lost profit, lost business or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will tell you by email before a change affects what you pay. We may close an account that is used unlawfully or in breach of these terms. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
